im quite disappointed in the result.

no progressive in the general election.   how....southern.

You weren't getting that anyway. Terry's ideology is "hack." Nothing more, nothing less.

terry is a pro-business progressive.   the neo-confederate is a gun-totin' populist.

and the republican mcdonnell or whatever his name is, is probably some sort of snake handler.

i was being a bit hyperbolic.   i do seem to recall he was named after some confederate soldier.

um... you voted for Jesse Helms and you're complaining that Deeds (whose conservatism is kind of exaggerated) is too much of a neo-confederate? Okay dude...

yeah.  jesse was a good man.   i didnt agree with him on much.  but i admire the way he always stood his ground.
