Can confirm that the Catholic Church has been particularly strict and consistent about masking. This shouldn't surprise anyone.

The church was not enforcing it. The attendees were voluntarily masking at much higher rates than I’ve seen at other places (grocery store, restaurants, etc). That’s what I was trying to say.

CTU is filing a labor complaint against CPS over the lifting of the mask mandate. Part of the agreement negotiated when CTU went on strike over winter was that masks would remain mandatory through August.

Pretty sure it's not going to be closed. At most unstickied but I doubt that happens for a while either. I haven't heard anything in the news about the vaccines being horrible for children.

Somehow worldwide cases are going up again.  A lot of this is due to the surge in east Asia, but it’s very discouraging to me how Europe has not been able to shake this.  They are even going back up yet again in the UK.

This is so far from true.  It is still required nationally on public transportation, as well as at many schools (mine included).

The true test is whether the TSA mask mandate is allowed to expire on March 18.

I actually saw a meme the other day that 90% of pregnant women who got the vaccine miscarried. No sourcing or anything. Meanwhile, the 2 or 3 pregnant women I know who got the vaccine had healthy babies. :shrugs:

That would be buck wild - there are something like 3 million births a year in the United States alone. If even 50% of those women got the vaccine, you're looking at almost a million and a half *known* miscarriages because of the vaccine. (In addition to the ones that occur already.) The birth rate would have dropped dramatically...but, of course, it's risen.
