Northern Europe results:

✓Norway - 52.8%
United Kingdom - 47.2%

I'm not as familiar with Eastern Europe, and while I feel like I should show pride for my heritage, that would mean voting for Russia, which I don't feel inclined to do, at the moment. Instead, I'll show pride for another part of my heritage, and vote for Hungary.

Three days to vote!

Poland is amazing and I like Hungary and Belarus, but I have to go with Mother Russia, the bulwark of Christendom.

Romania (Closest to Italy by background, so it wins by default)

You know, in Polish an equivalent of "Czechia" (Czechy) was in use long time when pretty much everybody else had to use Czech Republic.

POLAND IS NOT EASTERN EUROPE11!1!one

Voted Belarus, as I probably shouldn't vote Poland. Beautiful landscapes, historically probably closest to Poland, we have much in common in terms of cultural heritage and Belarusians have much more normal approach towards it than for example Lithuanians (and I am not telling that because of Polish cultural imperialism, rather it is nice to see that someone also shares some events and historical personas and do not live in denial) and what is more that process will probably will intensify as Lukashenka is changing his cultural and historical policy (especially after Ukraine affair). Belarussian are usually nice people, I guess like all people from Slavic former USSR-states which I've already met.

Only a few hours left to vote!

Also, for those wondering why Poland was included in Eastern Europe, I'm using these regional divisions: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/7/7a/Europe_subregion_map_UN_geoscheme.svg/680px-Europe_subregion_map_UN_geoscheme.svg.png

It might seem a bit wonky, but this means that there are a fairly even number of countries in each region (Southern Europe will have a few more than the other regions, thanks to geographically small countries like Vatican City.)
