Unless there is some variant that totally evades the vaccine, which I understand is very unlikely, I don't think we'll get back to November-December-January levels ever again.

At least in Israel and the United States I think the vaccine + antibodies will get us pretty close to herd immunity within the next 2-3 months (maybe UK too depending on the one shot strategy). So hopefully we reach that stage (or close enough that transmission is still dramatically reduced) before the next spike. Europe may have to go through another pretty bad Spring though.

Too early to talk about punitive measures for non-vacciners. I'm sure there's a pretty significant share of the population that wants the vaccine but not enough to jump through the website hurdles. A lot will change once you can literally just wander into a CVS and get a free shot.

Yeah, I got my second Moderna this weekend and the side effects were worse on the first shot weirdly enough.

Of course the CCP-controlled WHO is saying this, they have no credibility. The Chinese vaccine has been an embarrassing failure, and now they're trying to convince the rest of the world that our vaccines are too. Luckily I think the United States will largely ignore this.

Definitely seems like the ground has shifted on this stuff in the past week or so. Very nice to see! We need to stop punishing the vaccinateds with mask mandates, etc. and start punishing the unvaccinateds by shunning them from society/the economy.
