Here's the list ranked in terms of the margin between the two groups. When you color code the state winner a clear distinction is evident: Dem states have larger margins than Pub states. WI, UT, and NV are the outliers (PA and NH have nearly the same spread).

New Jersey  70  43  +27
Oregon  55  30  +25
California  59  35  +24
Maine  57  35  +22
New Mexico  60  38  +22
Virginia  71  49  +22
Colorado  58  39  +21
Wisconsin  62  41  +21
Washington  51  31  +20
Utah  58  39  +19
Minnesota  60  41  +19
New York  62  43  +19
Illinois  60  43  +18
Pennsylvania  64  48  +16
New Hampshire  56  41  +15
Texas  76  62  +14
Indiana  69  57  +12
Kentucky  73  61  +12
Georgia  81  69  +12
Michigan  62  51  +11
North Carolina  69  58  +11
South Carolina  75  64  +11
Missouri  71  61  +10
Iowa  58  49  +9
Arizona  58  50  +8
Nevada  59  51  +8
Ohio  63  59  +4
Florida  66  62  +4

These numbers don't make sense if we look at "Whites" with College Degrees compared to "Whites" w/o College Degrees....

Initially I had assumed the first number was Whites with College Degrees, and the second number "whites" without college degrees....

The further one scrolls down the list the less sense that makes.

Please explain further, since I am a bit confused.....
it's the other way around, non-college whites first. and then the number is the % of vote that went to trump Tongue
