If the change were immediate, every province except Alberta would be Democrat, Alberta would be swing.

If the change took place over a few years, and if there was integration (say, integrating the Conservative Party into the Republicans, Liberals into Democrats. Presumably, BQ and Lib-Dems would remain independent), then it's different. Quebec and the populated parts of Ontario would be solid Democrat, the Maritimes and northen territories lean Democrat (although Yukon and NW territories might switch in the distant future, becoming more like Alaska),  Manitoba and BC swing, and Alberta and Sascatchewan lean Republican. There might be even more of a switchover, if either Canada trends rightward or the Republicans trend leftward.

Er, I think you mean the NDP.  The Liberal-Democrats are a British Party.

Sorry... i guess I confused two similar parties!
