Question: Is it now time to confirm him before Hillary gets in and nominates someone much more liberal, or TRUMP gets in and nominates someone who isn't a proper conservative?
#1
Yes, it's time to give in and vote to confirm him

#2
I still won't vote for his confirmation, but hold the hearings and a vote. Maybe it'll fail and prove that Garland is a bad nominee.

#3
Hearings, sure, but not a vote.

#4
Nope. Hillary is likely to win, yeah, but we made our decision on this in February and have to stick with it.

#5
Nope. TRUMP will win the general, and will nominate a proper conservative.

Let's see how this goes. I think Garland is a good pick and won't participate here.

I'm all for holding a vote, though if I were a member of the Senate, I'd almost certainly vote no unless he really knocks it out of the park at the hearings.

Garland would have a better chance of being approved before the election if Bernie was the nominee because Bernie polls better in the general election, and because if he became President-election, Bernie would ask for Obama to withdraw the nomination so that someone more liberal could be nominated.

Glad to see you're still bringing up Sanders in completely unrelated threads. Denial is, after all, the first stage of grief.

For crying out loud, just give him a hearing, and let it come to a vote if necessary.

hold the hearings.  I don't know if I'd vote for him - that's what the hearings are supposed to be for.

What's the point of hearings if you dislike him already? Just wait for Trump. He will nominate Cruz anyway.

Lyin' Ted? Seriously? Him and TRUMP probably hate each other now.
