If Trump took the Traditional Path to the White House:


Basically if you told someone in 1989 that Trump would become President and a one termer as well someday this is what I would think his path would be

Secretary of Commerce: January 21st 1993- January 20th 1997

- Appointed by George HW Bush to serve as his Commerce Secretary after being reelected in 1992

- Leaves after Democrats take back the White House for the first time in 16 years with the win of President Ann Richards

Governor of New York: January 1st 1999- December 13th 2004

- Wins the Gubernatorial Office in 1998 as a populist Rockefeller Republican Type after voters in New York get tired of the Democrats after 6 consecutive terms

- Re-Elected in 2002

- Resigns after being officially voted in by the Electoral College on December 13th 2004
