The premise of your question is so ridiculous that it isn't worthy of a response.

There's no reason for "red states" to succeed when the American system of government systematically overweights rural/conservative concerns.  If anything, its places like New York and California who would become increasingly disheartened with the American system were Trump to win a second term.
Lol when have liberal states ever even considered seceding? It’s always crybaby conservatives that are talking about seceding whenever the government tells them that they can’t use “much religion” to discriminate against people, or whenever the government bans super lethal guns that clearly shouldn’t be accessible to an ordinary citizen because of “muh liberties!”
