Abortion
While I do think abortion is immoral, I support its legality until viability of the fetus.

Death penalty
So long as life imprisonment is an option, the death penalty should never be used.

Medical testing with animals
I don't think this one needs an explanation.

Wearing clothes w/animal fur
This isn't immoral in and of itself. I have a problem with using animals just for fur. In other words, if you're going to kill an animal just to use its fur, I think that's wrong. My exceptions would be such as using a deer hide where using the hide is incidental to killing the animal for meat. If an animal is to be killed for its meat, all of its parts should be used as much as possible.

When it comes to stem cell research, I really don't see the issue. As I understand it, researchers only use those stem cells that would have otherwise been disposed of. As for me, I'd rather they serve the benefit of mankind rather than going into the trash.

I can't understand why a majority here think human cloning is immoral. I can understand having strict regulations, but not a complete ban. In others, no cloning of an entire human being for the purposes of experimentation. However, I do not see the immorality in an individual or a couple choosing to raise a clone (either or themselves or perhaps a deceased child). For all intents and purposes, a clone is essentially an identical sibling. The DNA is identical, but nurture and environment ensure that each person is an actual unique individual. If I wanted to have myself cloned, how exactly would that be immoral? So long as full human clones have all the rights of personhood, I see absolutely no issue.

What the hell is going on with people claiming suicide is immoral? What kind of rationale are these votes based on? This is utterly ridiculous.

I'd agree with you, but why do you think cloning humans (assuming no deformities or experimentation) is inherently immoral?

Maybe it's not inherently immoral, but at the very least would raise a good number of very uncomfortable issues regarding personal identity, human rights, and eugenics, and could easily devolve into something very immoral.

I would agree that there should be strict regulations when it comes to the issue of human cloning. See my post on page 3. (I'm not singling you out at all, especially since you didn't seem to equate what you consider immoral to what should also be illegal.) However, it seems like most of the issues you raise go far beyond just reproductive human cloning.

I checked 1) polygamy because it subjugates women

To be fair, that's only polygamy (more specifically, polygyny, as polygamy simply means having more than one spouse) as practiced by some religions, such as Islam and the FLDS. Would your opinion be different if it were polyandry (more than one husband)? What about, as current marriage laws in the Western world require, having all parties involved provide their consent? For that matter, what if a man or woman wanted to have both a husband and a wife?

For the record, I agree that polygamy that subjugates women is unacceptable and immoral. However, I don't believe that makes polygamy in and of itself immoral.
