Reminds me that I keep meaning to put up a poll for the 1886 mayoral.

EDIT I: Don't you think the GOP candidate, who fielded 8%, should be given a slot?
EDIT II: I guess I'll vote for the Tammany candidate on this one.

Hilquit, although he was on the right wing of American socialism at that time and I'd hopefully have been an anarcho-Wobbly type, perhaps in the process of being subsumed into the Bolshevist fold.

Mitchel I guess - hoping he doesn't have much impact on American foreign policy. On the city issues he's a real reformer, better than Tammany. And not voting for the socialist.
