John Monds eliminated in Round 3.

He definitely has a future in LP politics.

Jo Jorgensen, Jacob Hornberger, Vermin Supreme, NOTA, and write-ins remain.

John Monds endorses Jo Jorgensen, adding that he would happily accept the offer of VP.

Party is voting on whether to do Round 4, or adjourn until 11 AM EST tomorrow.

Adjournment vote fails, and Round 4 begins.

Jo Jorgensen is likely to achieve the majority of delegates, and become the de-facto (official nomination occurs at a later in-person convention) nominee of the Libertarian Party, with an additional VP election possibly tonight or tomorrow.

John Monds eliminated in Round 3.

He definitely has a future in LP politics.

He was already well known for his solid performance in the 2010 GA Gov race. He would be good for the VP slot.

Adam Kokesh has NOT endorsed Jacob Hornberger.

I was really startled by the rumor. This move would've killed any chance he had to be Jo's VP, and I knew he couldn't be dumb enough to do it.

Cohen: 302
Monds: 296
Armstrong: 115
Kokesh: 69

That's a Monds lock in my humble opinion. A good pick.

Near misses were:
Sharpe 21
Sarwark 20
Hornberger 14

Sarwark confirms that he would accept, but the others probably wouldn't. Sarwark has been eying moving from chairmanship to being a candidate, but it looks like being this year's VP isn't how that will happen.

Advantage Monds.

My view is that Cohen is a better choice.  Monds seems like a solid Libertarian, but his slow talking style just isn't what they need to balance Jo.  Use the youthful Spike who can reach out to the yutes.

Looks very unlikely just because relatively big states that the Libertarians made ballot access in the Greens are unlikely to do so. For example, the Greens probably won't be on the ballot in Ohio. There are a number of other decent sized states where that'll be the case.
