No signature to speak of...

Though really I entered this thread because I can't wait to see the responses to mine.

It's funny and I like eating mandarin oranges. So it's a freedom signature.

Ironic, coming from someone who lives in New Jersey Tongue

I've never heard that one before!

Anyway, sorry Canis, but Gabbard is one of my least favorite Democrats running. Though I'll grant you this, she has one of my favorite logos.

Your own state could give it a run for its own money.

Anyway, your signature is pretty damn funny.

It's amusing, but it's also pretty random.

Not much to say. They say they are familiar with my state though, so that's something I guess.

Was this real? Either way, it sums up the Bush era pretty well.

I don't know what the reference is, but it sure sounds depressing.

I do not understand the references even slightly.

By the way, as you might be able to tell; much to the delight of Floridian posters everywhere perhaps, I changed my signature.

I agree. I have a real love-hate relationship with it. it passes the time and is cathartic with  being able to share my thoughts with people who probably understand them, but it can also be stressful and frustrating at times. Such is the nature of the internet in general, I guess.

You know, I never actually watched the video. I've only ever heard about it. So okay, yes it's a freedom signature.

I don't think Tom Petty would appreciate your use of his song for your purposes. To be fair though, he wouldn't express it like he would against a politician using it.

If I recall, Michele Bachmann used "American Girl" as a song at one of her rallies back in the 2011 GOP primaries and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers gave her a cease and desist order.

She probably wasn't paying royalties.

You could be right. I don't know if it was necessarily out of political concern, or if Tom Petty is just strict with how his music is used. I also recall that he sued Sam Smith for sampling "I Won't Back Down."

I don't love Phil Scott as much as you do (though that might just be impossible) but he is definitely one of the best Republican Governors, and Republicans overall in our current times.

While this may have been a real cartoon, whenever I see that art style I can't help but think of 'Bioshock.'
