SENATE BILL: Welfare Restoration Act (Failed)

The "welfare reform" policies of the Clinton administration were a step in the wrong direction and have shown themselves to be nothing more than an updated version of the old time "Poor Laws" which once victimized those at the bottom of the economic pyramid centuries ago. It is high time the Atlasian government corrected these failed politics of the past and move back toward a more humane welfare regime.

I do not think that phasing out welfare programs in favor of Nixcome alone is a good idea. Nixcome should be an addition to our existing welfare state, not a whole scale replacement of it.
