Uhm...quite easily:

1.  Civil War
2.  World War II
3.  Great Depression
4.  9/11
5.  "Year 2020"?
6.  Year 1968
7.  Great Recession
8.  Watergate

Didn't rank the Revolution, because it's actually way less of a historically dramatic event then many think; the Colonies had been growing distant from GB for quite some time, the casualties inflicted from the War were actually quite minor, and the daily life of most people changed relatively little. 

The amount of social/political change that happened in response to the Civil War and World War II is extremely profound; these wars and the periods immediately following them were the most "revolutionary" periods of American history.
