This, along with his name-calling showed a certain segment of the electorate that he was "tough" and "would fight for them".

Strong men don't bully others - strong men stand up to bullies.

The opebo blue to red to anarchist shtick has already been tried.

The left wants to divide the country, they are sick, The best speech I've heard.

Donald Trump is dividing America into fanatical supporters and people who hate his guts. That is dangerous!

If you are a liberal you are told something like "Eat $#!+, you loser!" If you are a conservative you are castigated for not pressing the metal hard enough. That sounds more like Fidel Castro than like any previous President of the United States, except that the 'winners' in Cuba were those who went along with the Commie line.

This President has made plenty of promises -- some of them impossible because they contradict, and some because they have horrid consequences.

Want a real border project? Build a super-train that follows the border, connecting San Diego and Tijuana to El Paso and Juarez. (I doubt that a segment  connecting El Paso and El Paso in the northwest and Brownsville and Matamoros  in the southeast makes any economic sense).

Oh, it would create more border crossings? We need more of them -- not less!

Donald Trump isn't winning people over. Sure, Obama tried and failed... because his opposition had a well-financed and well-organized opposition that wanted him to fail no matter what. Trump leaves no question to those who voted against him that their votes were right.

Oh, by the way -- in four of the closest wins for President Trump in 2016 (Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin) his disapproval numbers are in the mid 50s. Mid 50s! Should those stick, (he is doing just as badly or worse in all states that he lost) those states alone practically assure him a loss, at least 290-248, of the Presidency.

Polls of Georgia, Indiana and Ohio have yet to unfold. It's about time for a poll of Iowa. The ones from Florida, North Carolina, and Texas don't look so great for him, either.

The incitement to fascism and factionalism is of course very troubling, as is Trumpolini's Orwellian assault on truth, reason, and basic human decency. But to me his apparent delusions (maybe caused by advancing senility?) are the truly terrifying part.

The new cover of the German news magazine "Stern".

"Sein Kampf" (His Struggle) is an allusion to "Mein Kampf".
