Is there some reason why he refers to himself in the third person in some of his tweets?

He's quoting something there.

I've noticed that Trump often refers to himself in third person, on Twitter and in speeches. "Nobody is better at building walls than Trump", he said in his crapy annoucement speech of 2015. The dude has likely an obsession with his name as part of his narcissistic personality disorder.

Probably? Dude, that's been ongoing obvious staple since the 1980s. I remember I think in the late eighties early nineties Doonesbury did a parody of Trump that he was going to start his own game show where contestants would see how many times they can say Trump in 30 seconds. Naming everything and anything in his business after himself as an extension of his egomania and narcissism has been an objective National consensus for literally over 35 years.

Not disagreeing with you, just saying there's no probably about it.

LOL

Finally, some good news for Trump and his mentally stunted supporters.

What do we get done? Certainly not denuclearization.

This probably means they're going to have sex now.

I want a single Republican here to deny if Obama said anything even close to this he'd already have been called a traitor and Republican's would be calling for his impeachment.

And if Obama blew the deficit as the fiscally responsible Republicans do now. Or if he paid off pornstars and was an unindicted co-conspirator.

Or, had... You know, there are literally multiple things a week from his done since his inauguration that could fill in this statement just as well.

I don't think this man truly understands the concept of hypocrisy.  Somebody needs to sit him down and explain it.

Waste of time. He has so many other fundamental underlying issues which were carved in the granite of his alleged soul decades ago. Short of fear of the afterlife sparking a literal deathbed conversion, he is quite literally Beyond Redemption

Giving baseball advice here.

That's a bit out of left field for him.

This is surprisingly high-quality analysis of baseball tactics

Good to know this f***** has his priorities straight.

What are the chances Trump wrote this tweet himself?

This is gibberish. Mr. Trump is mentally ill to the point of incapability, and the establishment - Republicans, Democrats, and the  Fourth Estate alike - refuse to acknowledge it. (And for the record, Germany's negative yield bond auction failed.)

Don't hold your breath for Republicans to write this off. Just look at the latest example with Greenland. Trump on little more than a whim that would shock Louis XVI and it's grandiose Notions, decides to try to f****** by Greenland from Denmark. The most outlandish pharaoh like self aggrandisement conceivable with no basis in reality whatsoever.

When to no one's surprise but Trump's the thing falls apart and makes him look like a fool yet again, Republicans don't repudiate or even question his Fitness for president, or even just write it off as a necessary evil for having this particular conservative owning the White House for them, but instead wholeheartedly jump on board the annex Greenland Express which, again, has no basis in reality.

Amazing, and a real testament to the critical thinking of the typical voter, that this man has double-digit net favorability on "the economy."

Every tweet is a confession.

My God, he's gone full on third person in referring to himself.

This almost makes Kim jealous.

98% of Nazis approve of me. Thank you!

I think far fewer Nazis approve of you than of Trump.

I meant that is what Trump was saying. I doubt I'm very popular among Nazis.

Why so modest? You give yourself too little credit! Grin

Trump seems to be a bit peeved with Romney.

"I've been hearing a lot about this impeachment thing, so I'll start saying it!"

Trump should ignore Romney.

But if Trump was really as bad as Mittens says, why isn't Mittens self-funding a primary challenge?

Stop.

This one is from Rudy, but based on the style I'm convinced Trump wrote it:

I honestly disagree. Rudy at this point has jumped the crazy shark as badly as Donnie.

It amazes me how 45% of the country thinks this dude's not a narcissist. You couldn't pick a better example of narcissism if you tried, except maybe that BRTD fellow.

Care. They just don't care. Many of that 45% don't believe it, but essentially all of them just don't care.

Socialism and baby killing! Socialism.and  baby killing! There's literally nothing 98% of Republicans won't swallow in the form of letting America go down the toilet to it fight these two concepts

I think if the committee released false transcripts the Republican members would say so?

Also this is like the 20th time that he's gone on a rant in the last few weeks about how horrible Schiff is.

Did the president of the United States of America really just call the chairman of the house intelligence committee, and I quote, a freak?

It is very sad when people you think are close friends are working behind your back and you realize your outsized negative reactions to relatively minor things they did was because they were trying to hurt you the whole time for their own personal gain and you could tell but you couldn’t see.

No amount of ‘but it was for your own good’ can ever make up for that.  Real friends don’t do that.  Predators do.  Parasites do.

Never again.  I don’t ever wanna speak to these people again.

Umm, are we still talking about Trump here?

Already nuked and replaced by his handlers:

President Trump Congratulates 'The Great State of Kansas' After Chiefs Super Bowl Victory
Quote
But the Chiefs play in Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo.

"Congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs on a great game, and a fantastic comeback, under immense pressure. You represented the Great State of Kansas and, in fact, the entire USA, so very well. Our Country is PROUD OF YOU!" Trump wrote.

Trump apparently realized his mistake, as he deleted the tweet a few minutes later.

The replacement tweet doesn't imply the Chiefs were battling for American honor against the foreign nation of California, either.

The orange clown is dumb as a rock. I bet he wouldn't be able to identify half of US states on a blank map. But remember, this dude thinks windmills cause cancer and fires are caused by improper forest raking.

Obligatory post about tan suit, Dijon mustard, emails, etc, all demonstrating that Republicans are grotesque hypocrites.

And yet there is a solid 40 to 45% of Americans whose lizard brain tells them at their core, well, Fox news said it, my friends on Facebook said it, and now the president said it, so it must be true!

Why has coronavirus testing in the US been such a disaster?

America does, but Trump himself doesn't. And Trump does not equal America.

From this photo he apparently represents white. With HHS secretary hazard as a diversity pick. Roll Eyes

25th Amendment NOW

What good is that? 45% of population will support such views with whoever else other than Trump is in charge.

Never Better forget that coronavirus happened.

Even if the economy does recover, Americans are not going to forget being quarantined in their houses for weeks or even months. And keep in mind, I'm someone who is consistently skeptical about the American public's ability to remember anything.

My sincerest fear is, not that we recover from the Coronavirus pathologically and economically sooner rather than later - - I'm all for that * 1000. But rather that people will be so relieved this fall that life returns to something equating normal and the economy goes through a temporary post Coronavirus boom that Americans having increasingly demonstrated the political memory of a goldfish will forgive and forget the absolute self-serving uncaring dumpster fire of a klusterfuk the Trump administration's handling of this entire matter has been, be thankful they're back to work and get the kids back to school for the moment, and reluctantly give him another electoral vote majority.

Not only would this suck for me to see as a progressive, but it's a small businessman I have serious pessimism about the economy for the first couple coming years of this decade, not to mention almost guaranteed recurring flare-ups of coronavirus and related societal shutdowns. I would have cordingley want Joe Biden in charge of handling such obstacles literally 1000 + x more than Donnie Caligula.
