Earlier this year I read that the People’s Pat is seriously considering another run. However, Rauner would likely beat him again.

Rauner's problem is that his name is going to be on the ballot, and not Mike Madigan's, so even if Illinois voters blame both equally for the last 3 years, they will only have one clear outlet to express their rage.

I never understood why Madigan is not running for governor? Not that I would like it (at least by knowing what I know about the dude).

Such a moderate hero he is. Good thing I didn’t support him for the general.

Rauner is a fake moderate. He's in fact a pro-choice version of Scott Walker.

I know yard signs don't mean anything, but I was surprised to actually see a couple of McCann-Merreighn signs while driving through the 13th District this weekend.

I wouldn't be surprised if McCann sinks Rauner way below 35%. Rauner will be toaster than toast.
