LPT: Having jfern on ignore is necessary to make browsing the forum tolerable.

But he's not wrong.  Russia Russia Russia 24/7/365 makes people tune out, and they're clearly tuned out with the 01/06 committee.
Except for the problem that Trump was guilty in Russiagate, his campaign did have a relationship with the Russian hackers that he was aware of and he did fire Comey to obstruct the investigation. So you are arguing “It’s your fault for investigating something Trump is guilty of for why no is taking seriously something Trump is guilty of”. Do you realize how absurd that is?

Who would know that crying wolf would have a side effects, hehe.
Except Russiagate wasn’t “crying wolf” it was wolf attacks and boy cried about it but the wolf killed some rival farmer sheep that benefited the one of the hunters so they and another hunter that held a petty grudge again the same farmer got together to convince the rest of the hunters that the boy was lying so they wouldn’t come when the wolf came back

It's less crying wolf and more "HAHA IT WASN'T A WOLF IT WAS A COYOTE SO NOW I'M GONNA PRETEND YOUR ENTIRE PREMISE IS FALSE."

Russia did interfere with the US election, and the members of the Trump campaign had contact with Russia and were aware of this.

These are objective facts.

Guilty?  I didn't see any convictions, but okay.  Bob Mueller let the air out of every Russian balloon in D.C. and people are done with these nothingburger commissions.

Calling it a nothingburger over and over doesn't make it true.

That is next level gaslighting seriously. Manafort, Stone or the dozen Russian hackers indicted ring a bell?

How about not derailing this thread into a rehash of the Mueller investigation?

Right-wingers know that Trump is responsible for 1/6 but they don't want to admit this so they have to deflect, gaslight, and change the subject.

Yep because that’s what fascists do. They have one playbook and the rubes fall for it every single time.

Both memos were responses by the state legal departments to questions from Fann and Vos about whether they could change the selection method after the election.  Both responses provide very clear reasons why such an after-the-fact change would not be possible.

If the name Karen Fann sounds familiar, she's the Arizona State Senate President who was the prime mover behind the woefully inept "audit" of the election in that state by the Cyber Ninjas.

Trump tore up records which were to be turned over to the January 6 Committee.

Quote
Some of the White House records turned over to the House committee investigating the January 6 attack were ripped up by Donald Trump, the National Archives said.

It also emerged on Tuesday that the former president thinks his own vice-president, Mike Pence, should be investigated by the committee, for failing to reject electoral college results on the fateful day.

Documents obtained by the January 6 panel include diaries, schedules, handwritten notes, speeches and remarks. The supreme court rejected Trump’s attempt to stop the National Archives turning them over to Congress.

Haha, no. Actually, I'm fine with Jan 6th proceedings, because I think it's a circus show that will hurt Dems.

https://www.politico.com/story/2018/06/10/trump-papers-filing-system-635164

Trump's habit of ripping up paper after he's done with it long predates any of his high crimes and misdemeanors, or even his presidency.  He was asked to stop doing it because presidential papers are required to be kept for the Archives, but obviously he didn't care because silly things like 'rules' and 'laws' are for other people.

Jesus Christ. I had to  Hit the link because even I couldn't believe trump would be this brazen, and assume perhaps the story was from some sketchy questionable left wing rag.. But no, it's The Guardian itself..

This is literal tampering with evidence! Bodified unquestionable

I have to pose a question to Republicans or anyone else who at this point who still would remotely consider voting for trump, as was famously uttered at the McCarthy hearings. "Have you no sense of decency, sir, at long last? Have you no sense of decency?"

Apparently the committee said today that the public hearings will begin in late April but I can't find a story.

You can no longer call yourself a Republican without endorsing terrorism and political violence, it seems.
