Homeland Security and Government Affairs: Joseph I. Lieberman (Connecticut)

You can tell he got assigned that just to stop him from defecting. Oh well.

I insist a move to the Deep South is necessary.

Then you'd be tarred and feathered by evangelical Protestants who can't stand devout Papists like yourself.

And now you have an absurd argument to match all of yours.

And now returning to the argument:

I'm pleased to see that Jim Webb will be serving on Armed Services, the Committee which John Warner used to chair (and will now serve as ranking Republican on).  I'm sure he will provide excellent input.

The Energy Committee is ours, do you hear that, all you other states?! *shakes fist* No matter which party is in power, NM owns Energy! Cheesy

That is because everyone wants to make you feel special in order to get your vote Smiley

Actually its because New Mexico is where we mine our uranium and the largest single chunk of the department is the old AEC and their bomb making sites.

Whatever works. Tongue I find it amusing how the past two times the party control changed in the Senate the two NM Senators simply switched the Minority and Majority hats on Energy. Smiley
