I'm happy with Don Beyer (VA-8).  Smiley

The guy with the proud distinction of being one of the only people to have lost an election to Jim Gilmore.

Virginia in 1997 was a very different place.  

True, true. It's trend was (and still is) amazing. I wonder whether it will eventually slow or if it will someday become a Maryland-eqsue state politically.

I have a reasonably high opinion of Congressman Gibson. He's considerably above average - and thoughtful.

And younger than you.
