If Jesus Christ were living today, he'd probably be a Hamas militant considered slightly loony (but nice) by his militia mates. He'd obviously have as much of a chance of ever reaching the American midwest as the real Jesus Christ had. That goes without saying, really.

Hm? He was a member of the long-established local majority populace of Galilee. Which today makes him a Muslim. He wouldn't be in Hamas though, as he would be technically a citizen of Israel (unless you buy that silly "Bethlehem connection" thingy.), though never yet in his life treated as one.
