yep. I think I'd overall put Wilson ahead of Cleveland.
It's very odd that those two both had a similar trajectory into disaster on the second term - though that seems to happen in American politics, regardless of party.
Not true for Truman,IKE,Reagan, Clinton
I disagree: Truman's second term was marred with the failed rollback in Korea, the morally correct but politically damaging dismissal of MacArthur, the fall of China to Communism, the rise of the Red Scare, his defeat by the Supreme Court irt his steel nationalisation and various corruption scandals. As for Reagan, it's pretty hard to argue that his second term went remotely as well as his first, given Iran Contra.
