I would have supported the Communists. Looking at the fact that the party had attempted a revolution in 1919, and until her execution, Rosa Luxemburg was one of the key figures in the party, they were definitely one of the most Marxist of the often-domesticated Communist parties of Western Europe.

And to be totally accurate, Rosa Luxemburg didn't support the attempted coup. It was Karl Liebknecht's idea.
