These counties voted against Al Franken in the primary for a third-tier candidate whose entire campaign was basically "OMG FRANKEN WROTE ARTICLES FOR PLAYBOY! PORNOGRAPHY!"

What I find kind of odd is they are demographically similar to Fillmore county, that county just to the west of the most southeast one. Yet that was Franken's sixth best county. The five above him were Clay (college kids), Cook (latte liberals), Winona (college kids), Olmsted (latte liberals) and Hennepin (obvious.) I mean it borders Olmsted and Winona granted, yet has virtually nothing in common.

Don't count on it. He hasn't acted like an ass at all since taking office despite all the talk about how he would and be a disgrace to the Senate.
