Yeah exactly. The choice in this race is not between a Republican and a Democrat, but between one Republican and 0.6 Republicans.

Would you Berniecrats rather have 35 Elizabeth Warrens in the senate and let the GOP steamroll?

Let me know when southern whites and blacks unite in class solidarity to overthrow the Bourgeoise.

What a compelling argument in favor of Sinema.

Are you under the impression Arizona is a Southern state?

If you go South from Arizona, you're out of the country, aren't you?  Wink

Oh you wanna talk about Arizona specifically electing a socialist? Well the choice is between a generic republican and a moderate democrat because socialists couldn’t nominate anyone via the two Party primary process. This probably happened because Americans and Arizonans aren’t socialists.

No wonder that Bernie Sanders lost the Arizona primary to Hillary Clinton by double digits.

With all these compelling arguments, I am now convinced: Sinema is a stellar candidate and the only Democrat who could ever win Titanium-R Arizona in a red wave year like 2018. Thanks for enlightening me.

Socialism they say

As people like Kander/O'Rourke and heck even Doug Jones have shown you can still run as a progressive liberal in a red state and run a good campaign.

There has been a lot of (tiring) talk on here about why Sinema and Rosen are unelectable because they're "moderate heroes" who aren't able to inspire the base. My #hottake: the base is already inspired by Trump's election and Sinema and Rosen don't have to set the crowds on fire. They just need to increase their name recognition and focus on unpopular Republican plans from the past two years (repealing ACA, the tax plan, the border crisis) and how they plan to rectify these actions. And they're doing that.

Yes her primary opponent would have lost by 8-10 points. It would have been a repeat of 2010 Deleware

Abboud would be doing better, she turns out the base better and could actually define McSally early on rather than run an obnoxious "both sides" campaign.

Abboud literally had zero money though to get herself known at all, that's the problem.

I don't disagree that Sinema is disappointing though, even if she probably wins. Even a standard Democrat would have been better, and not poll any worse than Sinema.

Same could be said about 2010 Deleware as well

Christine O Donnell could turn out base more but despite that she was clearly the worse candidate

Kirsten Sienna is getting the same feel as Gabby Giffords, that's why she's doing so well in polling. Ducey, on the other hand, is liked by voters as well.
