Why shouldn't we deport illegal immigrants?

Why shouldn't we as a region partner with the federal government in the deportation of undocumented or illegal immigrants. Do we really want someone slipping through then committing a terrorist act? We shouldn't combine abortion legislation with legislation concerning illegal or undocumented immigrants. It's best to separate the two subjects into their own bills.

So why are we taking deportation off the table in sentencing illegals who commit further crimes?

I meant why aren't we considering outright deportment on all illegals (with the exceptions laid out in the Nefarious Act)?

Nay.

I'd urge the honourable member from Virginia to submit his amendment again, but without the abortion restrictions.

The abortion restrictions are core to the original law and as such must stay put. It's best to separate the immigration bill from the Right to Life Act. I support Shua's amendment to maintain the current abortion restrictions though my opposition to amnesty for illegal immigrants prevent me from fully supporting this bill.

I must agree with Shua on this one. The protections for the unborn need to be maintained at the current level and further strengthened in the future. The best thing is to separate the legislation into the duel categories this bill is trying to address.

Just eliminate the anti-abortion crap. We don't need the votes from the two assemblyman who think they should be able to control woman's bodies.

I don't want to control any woman's body. This is an issue of the fundamental right to life for the baby in the womb. You are looking at this from the wrong perspective.
