McCain's incompetance in campaigning has a lot to do with technological illiteracy. See Supersoulty's recent point about Obama's coordination of events and McCain's. Also that Obama manages his campaign from a Blackberry while McCain doesn't know the difference between a Mac and a PC. McCain is trying to run an antiquated pre-internet campaign, where traditional media mattered most and net-organizing wasn't needed. Obama is looking toward the future. McCain's failure to completely understand  modern society may be a big portion of his downfall. This is also a large factor in how Obama defeated Hillary (though granted Hillary was running more of a "2000" campaign where the internet was involved but not key or to the extent it needs to be today rather than the "1980" campaign McCain is running.)

The organizational inadequacy of McCain's campaign doesn't really have much to do with McCain's age.  Obama's campaign is not well-organized because the man uses a Blackberry.

Since we have political hacks on both sides calling McCain Bush 3 and Obama Carter 2... I thought of a better comparison...

McCain=Dole 2... We will see that in November..

I have been surprised at how well disciplined, for the most part, the Obama campaign has been. However, that could be just because he was up against Mark Penn and his opened-mouth campaign 'style'.

Yea, how dare all these old people live and be active, they should just go die off in a retirement home away from our sight.

Why did the Israel VS IRan thread get deleted while this pointless thread is allowed to stay?
