Which U.S. coastline has the best beaches?

I have to vote pretty resoundingly for the Gulf Coast, specifically the "Forgotten Coast" of Florida around Cape San Blas and St. George Island.  Unfortunately, this area has pretty devastated by Hurricane Michael earlier this year.

All the beaches I've been to on the Atlantic and Pacific Coasts had rock-hard, grey sand and were too cold.

In my experience the beaches of Oahu are much too crowded and it still doesn't have the soft, white Caribbean-like sand you can only get on the Gulf Coast.
