Here's what things look like in each land:

BTRDland - the shiny hand of left-socialism run amok. AKA the People's Republic of Minnesota. Sorry, no suburbs allowed, comrade!

opeboland - insane dictator will allow everyone to sleep with whoever they want, but will feed christians to the lions. Let's call him a 'neo-Roman', sort of a Nero or Caligula.

Phillipland - kind of like singapore, actually. Free to make money as you please, but don't be gay or spit on the floor!

DanielXland - my land. Economic prosperity and social freedom. Beware rampant sin, however. Also, it's a bad idea to cut the lunch line.

Al-land - The Populist Republic of West Virginia. William Jennings Bryan reborn...... great for coal miners!

lalaland - pure insanity. Reduces grown men to reciting gibberish in hours. No reality whatsoever. no objective standard exists.

I oppose gay marriage. I don't remember suggesting any laws that would make "being gay" a crime, and I definitely don't remember suggesting any laws making spitting on the floor a criminal offense.

BRTD-land in a heartbeat. Though I trust Al more as a leader, I hate WJB.

And I never said that cutting the lunch line was a bad idea. I only think it when kids do it. Also, I'm drawing the comparison to Singapore.

(I get real mad when this happens. If it happens a lot, and the line turns into a slog where honest kids get left behind, i start thinking the school should have a noose out front for these malfeasants....).

Plus, I don't think Opebo actually said he'd feed Christians to lions.

on the person themselves? Al. On your descriptions, as i'm not christian...nah, Opebo land'd be nice and all but probably Al or BRTD land. Maybe your land if you don't classify homosexual sex as 'rampant sin'.

Actually, I meant my nation would be a hedony. That means, among other things, prostitutes of either sex may serve either or both sexes. I put the 'beware' bit so unwary religious righters wouldn't go for it.

DanielX land doesn't sound too bad, probably the best of the choices listed. Of course the country I would want to live in the most is Liberty-land!

Tossup between Philipland and DanielXLand...but picked Philipland, because I know what I'm getting into.  I lived in Singapore for a couple years.  Pretty damn boring, but quite pleasant (although the 90 F / 90 % humidity gets on your nerves after a while).  As long as you don't criticize the government in public, you don't chew gum in public, you don't urinate in public, and you don't mess around with anyone's Mercedes anywhere, you're fine.  Most people with a grain of common sense will do just fine.
