This burning the Koran thing really makes me wish God was a little more hands on.

Looks like there was very little Koran burning yesterday.  Dove World Outreach Center called it off.  Westboro Baptist Church did burn one Koran and one U.S. Flag, but I couldn't find much reporting about that.  In Cheyenne, protestor Duncan Philip, the leader of the Wyoming Tyranny Response Team, said he'd rally against the location of the proposed mosque by burning a copy of the Koran on the steps of the the state capitol, but I haven't found any reports of the actual burning.  (The Wyoming TRT is pretty interesting.  Google it, and then click on the 9/11 Rally link, upper right-hand corner of the page for some enlightened analysis.)  One unidentified fanatic did walk around lower Manhattan yesterday, occasionally ripping some pages out of a Koran and setting them ablaze, apparently also in protest of the Park51 center.

All in all, either not many Korans were burned yesterday, or if any were burned it wasn't widely reported.

Also, in Lahore some Pakistani Christians torched an effigy of Terry Jones.
