1. He's a moderate. He's in favor of civil unions for gays and I'm not sure if he supports gay marriage.

Uh, that's his only "moderate" view. Well, along with admitting we have to do something about climate change...which are two positions that most conservatives hold as well. He does not support gay marriage.

I wouldn't say "most" conservatives hold those views... many, yes, but not "most."

Also, he supported the stimulus, but we've had this discussion.
