Pittsburgh, which looks pretty terrible this year, just lost at home to Monmouth.

They are probably the worst major conference team in America right now, although they only lost (and probably should have won) by 1 to Virginia last week.

Memphis, which finally seems to have gotten its act together, won 69-59 at Houston.  It was the Cougars' first home court loss since 2019 (37 straight wins).  The Tigers, a 10-point underdog, finished the game on a 21-6 run.

Big controversy right now in Nebraska. The associate head coach of the women's team, Chuck Love, has been suspended, and one of the players has left the program. The school has said only it's a "personnel issue" but many people are speculating the obvious.

With BYU eventually going to the Big XII, does any team end up replacing it in the WCC? Maybe California Baptist or GCU?

What a fall in status for Butler. They were elite just a few years ago.

I f***ing hate both North Carolina and Duke so who cares? Kansas is the only team in this final four that's not completely detestable so I'll cheer for them I guess. Nothing worse than a tournament that ends with all blue bloods and it's not even chalk.

Love Kansas and their humble and respectful, yet totally raucous fanbase. One of the best in sports. They deserve one finally! Best Final Four ever - after last year's ugly debacle...

Kansas gave Philadelphia Wilt Chamberlain and Joel Embiid, probably two of its four or five best basketball players in history.

Do you ever say anything positive?

I mean, I'm not going to give props to a program that doesn't deserve to be here. I'll positively comment on positive things that happen. But I hate UNC.
