The Democrat has won a surprise pickup in NH HD Carroll 6!

Kevin Landrigan‏ @KlandriganUL  5m5 minutes ago
NH House Dem surprise pickup [-] Edith Desmaris wins Carroll County seat in Wolfeboro, 811-755, over GOPer Matthew Plache. #nhpolitics

^Senior Reporter for Union Leader

House District Carroll 6 went for Republicans 57.05%-42.95% in 2016.

...............................................

Republicans apparently held NH HD Hillsborough 44, but it's not completely clear yet. There are still areas left to count, so Sununu may just be overeager.

Chris Sununu‏ @ChrisSununu  9m9 minutes ago
Congratulations to Mark McLean on his special election victory! It was an honor campaigning with you - welcome back to Concord! #nhpolitics

House District Hillsborough 44 went for Republicans 57.58%-42.42% in 2016.

Statement from NH Democratic Party:

Also, it looks like Republican Mark McLean is leading by just 2 votes in NH HD Hillsborough 44, but the remaining area is apparently more Republican leading.

Unofficial final: GOPer Mark McLean beats Democrat James Morin, 657-536 (55-45%) in Hills Dist. 44 special election. #nhpolitics

Interesting that there was only a little improvement here, but enough to flip the race in the other district.

First numbers coming out of NY AD-9: 17/109 districts reporting.

Christine Pellegrino (D): 60.28% , 1,047
Thomas A. Gargiulo (R): 39.38% , 684

If this holds, that'd be amazing.

In 2016, this district went 68.69%-31.31% for the Republican.

Actually, that may be all the votes, not sure. BUT, Pellegrino has won! This is big.

Brian Benjamin (D): 91.25% , 7464
Dawn Simmons (R): 2.73% , 223
Ruben D. Vargas (Reform): 2.02% , 165

Pretty safe to say that one's over.

Nope the general is on Tuesday. Elections in Oklahoma are moved up if there is no primary. There was no primary.

Oh weird my mistake, I was looking at an old source that apparently hadn't updated to account for that. Could be an interesting one to watch.

We're winning suburban Oklahoma City and Tulsa districts now. Great news.

And it only took the sexual harassment of an assistant and a child prostitution charge. The OK GOP are just lovely people, aren't they?

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhklahoma where the pervs come sweeping down the plain.

Yep, too early to make any calls. This slight Republican win in Bristol could potentially be cancelled out by a slight Democratic over-performance in another area of the district.
