So, NY being a swing state akin to 2000s Colorado in the future?

I assume that it'll swing back to the left in 2028 (although I believe that the days of the Dems getting 60% are over for now). Perhaps if an unpopular Dem wins in 2028 and the GOP is able to make further inroads with Jews & Latinos then it's possible, but NYC is too big of an influence for the state to becoming competitive unless Upstate starts voting at Southern levels.
