I welcome a new member to the party. I was hoping maple candy would be a salivating enticement. People change party quickly so I don't know if the rise in membership will last for long but at least you get a maple product and get us to celebrate a rise in membership.

I'd like to request an endorsement on behalf of the TimTurner ticket if I'm not already auto-endorsed.

I don't know if I have the right to open an endorsement vote as Vice-Chair. On the first page the bylaws says this about automatic endorsements:

Members are eligible for automatic endorsements if they have voting rights. Eligible members are automatically endorsed in elections for public office 48 hours before the election opens if there has been no endorsement election for the election. However, if there was an endorsement election in which no votes were cast or all voters abstained, members are still automatically endorsed. If there are more eligible members running in an election than there are open seats, no members are automatically endorsed in that election. Automatic endorsements must be announced by the chair or vice chair.


So if there is no endorsement election there could be an automatic endorsement but presidential elections are two person ticket and not both are the same party so not sure it applies to single candidate election. I will open an endorsement vote now for the presidential  election.

When I win, I intend to nominate Poirot to my cabinet. Small parties like the Libs and FASH are crucial to a successful Atlasia. For too long the big party monopoly and their zombies have squeezed out reformists. Myself and my running mate were both in the 3 most productive legislative terms in Atlasian history. We have worked in partnership with a majority of the Liberal Party members to advance our mutual goals.
