KrF 52%
DNA 46%
V 45%
S 39%
H 29%
SV 23%
FrP 20%
Red 18%

I wouldn't vote KrF due to their social conservatism even if I agree with their economic positions. I really like both DNA and Venstre, but I'm not a fan of the participation of the kooky SV in government, so I'd probably vote Venstre in the hope that they don't eventually support a FrP government.

I'd never vote for the last three parties, btw, so that's why they're scratched out.

708.000 people have already voted early, which is up by 50% compared with 2005.

Final turnout was about 80% in 2005.

That article is junk. Firstly, I have little stock in that poll which is out of sync with most other polls. Though it seems like Red-Green will lose its majority.

But more importantly, all talk about a centre-right coalition is pure junk. A centre-right majority would include Progress, the Conservatives, KrF and the Liberals; which is quite impossible since the bourgeois parties don't get along. First, Progress doesn't want a new Bondevik-like government which they 'support without participation', and Jensen wants it. Second, both the base and the Politburo of the Liberals and KrF are opposed to having a Progress-led government and really, only the Conservatives seem atleast amenable to the idea. Now, a Conservative-Liberal-Christian government would work, but it will never have a majority as long as Progress is so strong.

The most likely outcome is a minority Labour government relying on centrists (Liberals and maybe Christians) for a majority in votes. So, instability ahoy.

My experince is that the polls are all over the place. Yesterdays NRK-poll gave a clear Red-Green majority while TV2's poll denied the government a majority. Given the highly regional electoral system, lots of surprices might happen tomorrow also.

The election ends at 9 pm CET - and the first exit polls right after - the final result will be in around 12 pm and the exact distribution of the mandates will probably first be certain tomorrow.

Nope, but it's an exit poll - way to early to say anything definitive

Not results, exit poll from NRK - and it makes no sense to divide in that way Wink

The leader of Venstre, Lars Sponheim, has resigned (and lost his mandate in Rogaland)
