GMantis, what are the differences between the various right-wing parties? Is it just a matter of personalities, or are there any actual ideological differences?

I would say that they are very small, if any. GERB, while presenting itself as populist, is actually very liberal in the European sense, at least economically. SDS (UDF) one of the two members of the Blue coalition is as liberal as GERB, as is NDSV (despite presenting themselves as centrist). Only DSB - the other major member of the Blue coalition can be said to have some populist leanings and they're not really important.
Of course, there is very little difference between the right-wing parties and BSP. They only major differences are that the right-wing parties want even lower taxes (but BSP has supported the introduction of a very low flat tax) and that BSP supports a more balanced foreign policy and not total subservience to the EU and the US.

Thanks! What about this RZS outfit? Same deal?

RZS has a very fluid program. They are for everything that is popular, even if they identify as conservative.

Tender Branson:
A Bulgarian deputy minister was arrested on vote-buying allegations Monday, a day after the general elections, Sofia Prosecutor Nikolay Kokinov said.

Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Alexander Filipov has been under surveillance for a long time, Sofia City Prosecutor Nikolay Kokinov said. Kokinov didn’t comment when and who had given the signal against Filipov. He added that other persons have been detained on the case, too.

Nikolay Kokinov informed that Deputy Minister Alexander Filipov is arrested for 72 hours and the Prosecutor’s Office will require for restraining order.

Alexander Filipov, deputy minister for emergency situations in the outgoing government and the only deputy minister of Roma origin, will be charged with "abuse of power and setting up a vote-buying group," the prosecutor said.

OMG Racism! :)

He's from the National Movement Simeon II, btw. Not a Socialist or a Turkish party man.

GMantis:
Of course, this is probably just the very tip of the iceberg. Whether him being a Gypsy has anything to do with his arrest is uncertain, though of course they could arrest many other people like him. Though I find it interesting that they arrest a member of a party which is basically finished (their leader, the former king resigned today) :)
