If only Texas had two of her in the Senate.

I'd rather have her there than in the governor's mansion.

Running against Rick Perry's 3rd term bid makes her a FF.

So, you'd rather have two senators like Cornyn?  That was more my point than anything else.  For Texas, you have to admit she's about as good as they can get.

I voted solid conservative.  Hutchison is what I would term a Mainstream Republican.  She very clearly is not an Olympia Snowe style centrist, but she isn't in the hard-core right with DeMint and Perry either.

True, but that means Texas is going to get an even more conservative senator, unless, by some miracle, White pulls it out.

That is what I was getting at.

Her lack of a penis makes her a weak conservative, but because she doesn't have the balls that Snowe does, she's no moderate.

KBH vs. Perry is truly hysterical. I think most Texas Dems/Independents would agree that she's the best statewide Republican in office. I voted Solid Conservative, but she's definitely not hard-right Conservative, an option that was missing from this poll.

A hardcore environmentalist in a statewide Texas office-holding position of any note is highly unlikely to happen any time in the near future.  Just FYI.

Moderate.  I looked up her record on pro life issues and she's not as bad as the RINOs like Snow and Collins.  But she still needs to be brought along.

On foreign policy she has been very supportive of President Bush.  She needs to step up her criticism of the Obama spending orgie and his wussy foreign policy.
