The odds of this happening in the near future of course are quite low, but hardly non-zero in the next decade or two. Imagine a coup by hardliners after an Arab party is included in government.

The main reason I ask this is its democraticness is often given as a reason as to why it should be supported, but I bet benconstine an his other Zionists would still back it to the hilt if this were to happen.

Probably not...but I can think of some extreme war situations where I would.

Please keep in mind any such regime is going to almost certainly engage in ethnic cleansing or some type of apartheid system (and I'm not talking about those in the Palestinean territories, I'm talking about Arab Israeli citizens)

Absolutely not. I would not support any country under a non-democratic government.

Depends on exact circumstances and what you mean by support. It could still be better than the Palestinian side, so in that sense I could still think of supporting them.

I would say no, unless they're fighting an enemy who's clearly worse than them.

As much as I'd like to think the answer is no, the honest answer is that I would support Israel as long as they remain a Jewish State.

Not surprising, considering you've said in the past that you'd rather have Israel become a non-democratic, authoritarian regime than a democratic one not fully Jewish (aka disenfranchise/expel the Arabs if demographically they become needed to govern.)

If the people of Gaza turned to Scientology would there still be anti-Zionists?

Yes. If you've paid attention to my posts, you'll see I don't like Islam at all. My issue with Israel comes from a group deciding they have the rights to a piece of land and can do whatever they want there because they had it 2000 years ago. And attitudes like ben's clearly displayed here.

For a long time I support no one here.

And I just think that if Bibi don't show effective results, the far-right danger would be to occur there. Just a personal feeling...

Considering that the Sect of Scientology would be an improvement over Hamas (one of the few instances in which Scientology would be an improvement, I can't see why this change would cause anti-Zionists to change their opinion.

Ummm...obviously? You do understand this problem exists because the zionists came and stole their land? Now would they be less violent...perhaps. Then again Jews and Muslims had been living peacefully in that region for millenia, until the zionists came in and pretended as if they owned the whole place.

Jews from Muslim countries are actually more hawkish on the Arabs and Iran than the ones from Europe.

What I was saying is that the land we know as Israel today had Jews and Arabs (Muslim and Christian) living together peacefully for a long time before the zionists came.

Problem was that it was not a good peace.

Explain to me how this blind nationalism is any different from the Front Nationale in France or Slovak National Party or any of those other loony fascist parties in Europe. Replace "Israel" with the name of that country and you could easily have one of their slogans.
