What the liberal from Indiana said above as a joke wouldn't be a bad thing.  Bob Smith made good sense. 

If there was any way it could become viable enough to win elections I would switch to the Constitution party myself.  Smith did but he came right back to the GOP.  I have mixed feelings about that because on one hand the Republican Party is too liberal on most issues.  But they are so much preferrable to the democrat party, I still have to support it.  No choice.

I am sad to see New England stripped of any true social or economic conservatives.
