I always had a hunch that Specter would vote for the bill.  He wasn't the deciding vote.

Snowe and Collins could win as Democrats. It might not be long before Maine has two Democratic Senators with no changes of person.

Snowe has committed herself to the GOP.  Collins is a possibility, but I wouldn't understand her motive at this point.
