Quite good fun. The school I work at was closed, which meant a nice day off. May get tomorrow as well - the school site will probably resemble an ice rink. I'm not prepared to drive - so I'll get up early and walk.

There have been the usual nay-sayers who claim Britain should be better prepared for this kind of event - nonsense.

Besides, the areas that do get a lot of snow all the time generally are well prepared; you see huge piles of salt on the main roads through the mountains up here.

At least you didn't have Boris Johnson calling in the army to dig the snow.

It's just snow, you guys should be able to deal with it fine. Over 12 inches of snow isn't that much and should easily be able to be dealt with.

I was in London 'post snow' on Monday. There were some communters who failed to engage their brain ''Oh the tubes off and the buses ain't running...I think I'll stand here for a bit and wait for them, even though I've been told they're not running'' Walk people!

Let me tell you Brits something...

That city better be clear by Tuesday for the Italy vs. Brazil Friendly!  Wink

I don't know who thought it would be a good idea to have two countries like Italy and Brazil play in London in February.
