Let's look at the issues:

Iraq:
Both will want to leave. Churchill b/c occupying another country for no reason is a terrible military strategy, Atlee b/c he let many British colonies free. Churchill would follow through better, while Atlee would leave Iraq alone. Remember India in 1948? Churchill wins

Social Services:
Atlee will revamp Social Security and medicare and increase other services. Churchill will leave everything to be.

I don't have much time, so I'll continue tomorrow. Can someone show a potential map?

I guess I would be a swing voter leaning Atlee.

Never, ever have I understood that election. The sheep in sheep's clothing vs the modern Cassandra- seems a no brainer, right?

Bush's current WW2 strategy is extremely Churchillian- no peace for the wicked, usher into an entire new era for the region and world. Churchill would probably have gone into Iran by now.

I don't think so. You don't go for war just to get reelected. And Churchill planned ahead his postwar strategy. Unlike Bush.
