Ugh, even I as a Republican do not want Palin in 2012.

Why not? You want some silly "centrist" party that rolls over like dead dogs to democrats?

I think there are people who are better suited to the media (and through the media, the general public) than Palin. The treatment she got was completely unfair, but so was Al Gore's treatment in 2000.

So you are suggesting that ALL of the OTHER Republican candidates are centrists?

I cannot believe it. Wow. Sarah Palin just won't go away. She's like the female Republican Obama...

See, Jindal doesn't have a chance against her. Unless she doesn't run.

I think over the next 16 years it will be Jindal vs. Palin

No. Palin and Jindal are the two people that I'm looking at for 2012. Huckabee is to economically liberal, Guiliani has to much baggage, McCain is toast and Romney has to many issues behind him.

Young, energetic, fierce political opponent and not afraid to stand for her beliefs. We need more fighters, McCain was to scared to throw down the gloves when it mattered.

Huckabee, an economic liberal?? Wow, I hope that you are joking. Thompson tried that in SC and it was thanks to him that McCain won SC and the nomination. Now McCain is far more liberal than Huckabee, both socially and economically. Huckabee's stances are conservative, actually. He turned the deficit into a surplus in his state budget while governor (this is a huge asset, as liberals will no longer be able to argue about the national deficit).

Inflation?

Anyway, Palin is t he perfect candidate except for her utter lack of appeal to non-activist Republicans...  She's probably worse than the mirror of Dean (which state is bigger, by the way, Vermont or Alaska?).

The non-Thanksgiving version.  Including some blacks that don't sound very convincing as they read their lines.

I don't know, the gay black dude in the cowboy hat seems pretty convincing.

Nice irony.

At least Vermont is in a politically-homogeneous part of America. It and its neighbors hold 50 electoral votes (NY, NH, MA), and is close to states with another 14 (ME, RI, CT).  Alaska is next to two countries that don't vote in US elections.

That is a very good ad. It shows real people thanking Sarah Palin, which she should be thanked, for all the hard work she has done in being a voice for us. Sarah Palin cares about America, not just about the paycheck, or the attention.
