My parents:

1984(?)-2008: The Republican
2012: McCain write-ins
2016: Johnson & Clinton

My grandparents on both sides of the family (or at least the ones who voted) voted Republican their entire lives, including 1964. My great-grandparents through my father's mother voted Republican, including 1932 and 1936, and their ancestors mostly voted Republican or Whig in every election back to the 1820s. Through my mother's mother, my ancestors were Irish Catholics, so they were definitely voting for Democrats. My mother's father's parents were non-citizens, and my father's father's ancestors were Pennsylvania Germans who probably didn't vote.
