Excellent, the tide has turned, good may just triumph over evil.

When you start referring to any New Jersey politician (except maybe Cory Booker) as good, you know you've lost it.  I cannot begin to understand how much of a hack one must be to not only desire a Corzine win, but also characterize it as good triumphing over evil.

Unfortunately this forum has a significant number of leftish hacks.

They are unable to deal with reality.

Lolseventeenpercent.

Frankly, this is awesome as hell.  It shows how much of a nothing Daggett ultimately is:

Gary Steele, a 50-year-old tax attorney and former hockey coach from Kinnelon, has never run for office before.  He has no apparent political base, practically no money, and has attracted little attention since he announced his candidacy for Governor as an independent four months ago.  But he's polling at 12% statewide against Democratic Gov. Jon Corzine and Republican Christopher Christie in a poll of likely voters conducted by Fairleigh Dickinson University.  Against Steele, Corzine and Christie, the former U.S. Attorney, are tied at 38%.

...

The FDU poll has Daggett at 17%, with 38% for Corzine and 37% for Christie.

...

Daggett gets 4% from likely voters who picked him without his name being mentioned.  In that survey, Corzine leads 44%-43%.

It's been awhile since I've said this but:
CARLHAYDEN IS RIGHT.

I can understand supporting Jon Corzine, but calling him "good" and saying that if he wins there is "hope for America", you have to be a hardcore Democrat hack.

I see nothing hackish about proclaiming the goodness of Jon Corzine, who happens to share initials with Jesus Christ.

Hmm.

We should be getting polls from SUSA, Rasmussen, and Democracy Corps this week.

Corzine is dusting off Max Cleland for a campaign stop appearance.

It's not a race until the Republican brings in Guiliani and the Democrat brings in Cleland, I guess.

It'll be Christie by 3 or 4, I'd guess. The last one was Christie by 7 (9/21).

47-44.  Christie's on top.

I'd tell you more and stuff about Daggett but Rasmussen hasn't fixed their link to the poll yet.

Not impossible, but not yet likely.

Well he's still not ahead in (most of) the polls yet. But if Corzine does pull through next month, I think it'd be more because of a third party candidate than it is Democrats coming home this time.
