Terrible turnout + Dems already having at least 57 Senate seats = Easy win for Saxby

What Phil said.

The McCain message in the last couple days of "people want divided government" is what, I think, kept the Democrats from making even more gains.  I suspect the same message in Georgia will be, "All right, they got their fancypants President...now, we need Saxby to keep an eye on the boy".  Or something along those lines.  (Though "boy" won't be used in the official ads.)

And this is a shame.  I would gladly give up Oregon or Minnesota to be rid of the putrid, cowardly cur that is Saxby Chambliss.

When I saw the title, I thought it read "America is black," which kind of grabbed my attention. Smiley

Haha, same here.

I'll be very surprised if Obama comes down and campaigns at this point, especially now that McCain is going to make an appearance.

Palin apparently wants to make appearances as well.  Just when I was beginning to like her.

Yeah, Obama's not going to enter a proxy fight with McCain in which the Republican has a decided advantage.
