Okay... I'd have to agree...

I also take back my registration.

We really should have a constitution before doing this kind of stuff.

I am so happy that such distinguish members accapt the need and the urgency for a constitutional convention

I'm more left than you Dems Wink  If us Progressives don't have a candidate in July(?), then I'll vote Dem, of course Grin

'tis nice though, that you acknowlege me in this way Smiley

I fear you Progressives will do the same thing TR did in 1912, take reelection away from the incumbents and give it to the other party . . . Sad

TR was suppose to be reps candidate, he won the primeries really but the bosses of the party played tricks upon him. and yeah, it cost them the elecrions.

Yes, the Progessive's likely will take away votes from you guys.  But I imagine there'll be a lot of Republicans crossing their fingers, hoping that another third party doesn't come along which might take away votes from them as well.

There's still a LOT of time between now and election time.  So there's enough time for more parties to come along...

I guess what I'm saying is, don't fret...yet.

TR took ftom the reps. LaFollettee too

Um..yeah, but you're not TR or LaFollette. From your early description this party appeared to be to the left of the Dems rather than to the right...

Thank you, Mr Chairman.

I know of five members besides me: yourself, Mr Bell, Mr Trondheim, Al and ilikeverin. Whom would the sixth member be, if I am the seventh?
there was a guy here Manuel Esteban, from Chile. he declered him self as one that want to join, had his name on Peter's site for the convention and disappeared. didn't post since. He is #6, hope he comes back.

I don't think that Al is a member, but the others seem to think so. Maybe Al himself would like to give some clarification.

Considering the fact that he used to be a senator for the Democratic party and is a member of Nym90's cabinet. I'd certainly say that some clarification would be in order...

he was at our convention and considered a progressive-democrat ticket at WV

A new GusNews poll show that 44% of registered voters declare themselves to be Republicans, 44% to Democrats and the new Progressive Party gets as many as 11% of voters behind them, surprisingly high for such a new party. Analysts believe that this is bad news for the Republicans, who had a clear lead in voter registration leading up to the election and lost the presidential election despite the majority of the voters being registered Republicans.

Huzzah!  Huzzah!  Huzzah! Grin

Indeed, I'm a Socialist. Put I've noticed American politics to be slanted towards the right as compared to the equivalent parties in Canada. Therefore I'm always apprehensive. For example the Canadian Conservative Party (Canadian Republicans) want to invest more money in public healthcare! You can see why I might be a little weary of American parties. Maybe you guys aren't right, we're just really left. Who knows.

I was never a rep (but I admire TR and LaFollettee who was a rep too). Hey, Lincoln was a rep. It was a Grand Ol' Party.

The reform party dissolve after about 12 hours and justin came back to the right wing part of the GOP.

The fact that the dems started to put their titles in their forum names really speaks for itself
