Register to vote in the July 2-4 Atlas Fantasy election, by posting in this thread.

I figured the elections will be held the second to last weekend in the month before the President takes office......

So in February...June...and October.....and then the President takes office the first Saturday in March....July...and November....

That's 4 months apart....

Plus I think it's too early to be registering for something that takes place in the SUMMER. I mean....when will this close? You're going to keep it open for 4 months? Or will you close it in a week or two..leaving new members who sign up in late spring and early summer with no opprotunity to vote.....I think we're jumping the gun here......... Undecided

I think we need to hold the Constituional Convention first....before anymore elections shall be held. That way we will all be reading from the same page....

You might be liberals, but I am a leftwing nut. And due to a request in the Re: 5 Regions thread I am now listed under South Carolina. So, I'm a Canadian Progressive in South Carolina... ya I know.

Siege40

This Progressive movement is getting CRAZY.....all new members who come to the forum are urged to be a Progressive....

I can hear the Progressive's chanting now....."Be one of us....one of us......gooble gobble gooble gobble......one of us....one of us......gooble gobble gooble gobble.....one of us...one of us....gooble gobble gooble gobble"

Crazy you say? What's wrong with a Progressive movement? Could it be that you fear the Progressives will take Democratic votes? It seems to me that your implying that the Progressives used unfare methods to woo me into their camp, I can tell you that that's not true. I've been a Socialist for a long time.

Also if we were to start chants I'm sure we could come up with better than that one. It sounds like Zombie Turkeys to me. Not an appealing image.

Siege40

It's the chant used in South Park.....as well as the 1931 movie Freaks.....but I doubt you're familiar with either one.

And if you came to the Forum sooner....and read my earlier posts....you would know that I have NOTHING against the Progressive movement...they are the number one third party at the forum....and that's fine with me. I don't view them as a threat at all. And in fact I thought of joining them at one time....which I still may do...you never know.

But I do enjoy teasing them quite a bit. Grin

In fact, we are the only third party.

I think Justin...or someone.....formed the Reform Party...but I think he's the only member....lol..

And I was thinking of forming the Democratic-Republican party....but I think I'd be lucky to get 2 to 3 members.

Don't, man; we Dems are losing members and the GOP isnt!

Yeah...and that's another thing.....and Dave never responded to my Dem Rep avatars...which I guess is a snub....so don't worry....no Democratic-Republican party will be formed..

Siege, if you changed to Democrat, we'd openly welcome you Smiley

LOL! Me? A Democrat... no. I make John Kerry look like a Compassionate Conservative. A democrat I am not. Sorry friend, I don't think so.

And to think....he joined a party that was formed by a Republican Smiley

Dunn was never a Republican... right?

Yeah....he never was.....but....although Dunn may have formed the Progressive Party here at the forum....it was President Theodore Roosevelt who formed it in real life in 1912. And of course we know that TR was a Republican.

Ok…hope I get his right…

I register…

That IS right, you just registered. Smiley

Bullmoose, you are registered already, so that post was actually unnecessary. Once registered, always registered. Smiley

I don't know about that......especially if we're using registered voters as a basis of making the districts. I mean....what if a WHOLE bunch of people register....but then don't partake in the election...or even the Fantasy Election process. Then we will have districts based on a majority that isn't there to participate.

The way it usually works in real life......is if you register....and then fail to vote for four years or so....then your registration is no longer active. That's how I think it should be here......as long as you register....you don't have to register again.....AS LONG....as you vote in elections. If you fail to vote in two elections in a row...then you must register again to insure the people of the forum that you are SERIOUS about Fantasy Elections.

Jesus is about 2004.
Saint Christopher is a legend, not a real saint, and therefore has no age.
I don't know about the others.

lol...thank you for lightening the mood, Lewis.

Oh, I have some questions about the game.
When is the next election for president? My understanding is that it is not for a while, but I don't know exactly when.

Second to last weekend and June.....and you will most likely not be participating in it.

And, are there any other elections before that? And what are they for?

The Senatorial elections should be held during the second to last weekend in April...which is April 23-25. You will probably not be involved in those elections either....because with your friends voting for you....or themselves....it is quite possible you can take a Western Regional Senate seat....as well as a Western District Senate seat.

What you're doing is not allowed at the Fantasy Elections....and that is inviting a bunch of people here just to vote for you....

Having read of the "Apostle's" post.....I now see that he has made some...."legitimate" posts....therefore....he is an official registered voter......and one out of TWO members of the JC Party. Congratulations Jesus....you have 2 members....
